Mrs. Dorothy Korzym

Student Supply List

I have taught middle school since 1980 and college since 1995. My philosophy of education is to create a classroom environment where I am the facilitator allowing students to learn using Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences, to critically think using Bloom’s Taxonomy, and recognize the importance of mastering grammar by writing daily and parsing sentences. Specifically, in eighth grade I want my students to leave my classroom realizing how valuable it is to make education a lifelong endeavor, to make them confident in their writing abilities, and hopefully, instill in them a passion for learning.
