I am a graduate of St. Edith School, and I know firsthand the positive impact of a high quality Catholic education on a child. My goal is to provide every child with a highly academic and faith-based education. I set high academic expectations and provide a nurturing environment to help every child reach his or her potential. Each day in my classroom will be challenging, engaging, and fulfilling for every student. I am enthusiastic about teaching and learning, and I use that enthusiasm to motivate my students.
I have been teaching at St. Edith School since 2008. This year I will be teaching third and fourth grade English and third and fourth grade science. Throughout the year in English, we will focus on practicing proper grammar, learning the writing process, and writing clearly and concisely. This year
in science we will focus on the scientific method, science process skills, lab reporting, and experimentation. I will also be teaching fourth grade religion, reading, spelling, and handwriting. This year in religion students will celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Reading comprehension, fluency, spelling, and vocabulary will be taught daily.
I look forward to another blessed and successful year of teaching and learning!
